INTEGRATED WEB FILTERING CONFIGURATION

• OfficeScreen engineers set web filtering policy after customer discussions
• Client makes initial connection to web server
• Client makes HTTP URL request
• OfficeScreen Juniper device intercepts URL request and uses the SurfControl database to categorize requested URL in to areas such as “Weapons” or “Sports”
• Device matches category to policy and either allows, denies or redirects to internal web page allowing defer/continue option
• If allowed, HTTP request allowed through

*Note – If desired, as an alternative to integrated web filtering, OfficeScreen has the added ability to redirect Web traffic to a web filtering server to provide customers with the best of both worlds.
